Working Committees

The working committees serve as functional organs in service to the EXCO to achieve the cardinal objectives of the association. Working Committees are generally grouped as follows:

STATUTORY COMMITTEES

They are retained as standing committees which function to maintain  internal organizational cohesion for the association, to enable it achieve its overall objectives. Whereas statutory committee membership is tenured to mirror the tenure of the appointing EXCO, its activities however function in continuation between tenures. Committee membership comprises persons with requisite knowledge and experience in the subject matters for which the committee is constituted.

AD-HOC COMMITTEES

The Ad-Hoc Committee is constituted as the need arises. They are created to accomplish specific tasks, often on a short/medium-term basis which is not easily provided for elsewhere in the committee system. Each ad-hoc committee draws support from amongst its members’ resource pull, as well as from the association’s Think Tank where necessary, to achieve the set objective, goals, or product in service to its initiating body. When its task is completed, the committee stands dissolved. Committees report directly to the Executive Committee
