BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND ADVISORY COUNCIL

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The Association’s Board of Trustees gives overall direction in the affairs of the association, and has therefore been expanded to create the “UNUEDO Board of Trustees and Advisory Council” for better inclusiveness, to include:

The statutory BoT members, who will retain casting votes
Other distinguished sons and daughters of Edo state home and abroad, who have distinguished themselves, on tenured basis.
Appointed Patrons, on tenured basis.

The Association’s Executive Committee (EXCO) is voted into office for two years tenure, by the General Assembly of Financial members. Its functions are to oversee the administrative affairs of the association according to the associations’ goals and objectives. It works closely with the Expanded Board of Trustees and Think Tank Advisory Council.

The Exco functions with the aid of an Executive Secretary, who serves the Exco on the day-to-day management and coordination of the association’s activities, cutting across all organs of the association, including the standing and ad-hoc committees. The Executive Committee maintains a secretariat manned by the Executive Secretary and other administrative staff.
